Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also received two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honoured with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara became famous as an actress when she was a part of 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. Together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, she was part the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working with Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was acknowledged for her stand-up comedy and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was included in the newly formed Second City artistic Advisory Board, which was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
